right i bin on aol help 3 time cuz o this n they as much help as an def blind and limbless person....

im hoping u lot can help... right 2 my prob after about a hour all stuff that i need the net 2 run(e.g MSN or Kazaa) just act as if the net isent on at all and wen i go 2 turn aol bak on its still turnd on and whent i turn aol off the background process WAOL.EXE dosent turn off so i carnt turn aol bak on and i carnt turn me pc off cuz of it ne1 no wot i can do? n btw i runng on AOL8.0 broad band n me pc is windows XP o ya iv tryd reinstallin aol and iv deleted the Global.EXE like i woz told bi aol staff but it did jack

have you tried:

when your in processes, click on WAOL.exe and click "end process"

tried reinstalling kazaa? also msn has been down alot recently so try that again aswell

you know in ur processes when it says waol.exe

how much memory is it taking up by the side of it

if its a lot then it wont go off

cause i had over 100,000k before
then i bought more memory
and its fine now
i got 512ddr btw

broadband only works out a few pounds a month more than AOL 56k
